After greeting each other with the interviewer, Hidetaka Nishio (X-GUN), the recording started. When Nishio asked B.A.P about their Japan debut, Daehyun answered, “It was one of our dream, so we are very happy to make our debut in Japan,” and showed us a big smile. Next, when they were asked about the impression they have towards Japanese fans, after discussing who to answer, B.A.P’s leader, Bang Yongguk said, “I think they are all nice and lovely.” Seeing Yongguk talking shyly, looking at the ground hiding his face, Nishio looked surprised and said, “Compared to the strong performances you do on stage, you look innocent and nice during interview, and I like that gap!” Himchan also said, “I get shy when there’s camera in front of me…” Jongup said, “On stage, we concentrate on our song and dance so it’s OK, but we are still not used to talk in front of camera like this.” It’s surprising how they gave this shy unexpected reaction to us, even though they are a popular artist.
About their Japan debut single, “WARRIOR,” Bang Yongguk said, “This song is about the unfairness of the society. I think this is a song which we were able to show the color of B.A.P’s music.” For the part of this song they want people to listen to the most, Daehyun answered, “I want people to focus on the lyrics when they listen to this song. And also, I would like people to watch closely to our performances too!” Daehyun smiled and answered confidently. When they were asked by Nisho, about their special feature and color they have that differentiate them from other K-POP artists, Jongup answered immediately saying, “Dance!!” Having that answer, Nishio showed ONE SHOT and WARRIOR choreography to the members that he’s been practicing recently. Seeing his dance, B.A.P looked like they were impressed and showed excitement. According to the members, B.A.P practices 12 hours everyday from 1~2 months for 1 song(1 choreography). Himchan said, “Because we only have tough and difficult choreographies, it’s really tiresome for us…” and smiled bitterly.

For B.A.P, this is their 3rd visit to Japan. They said that they’ve been studying Japanese for over 2 years, and even though Daehyun is being modest saying “We are not good enough,” it looks like they are improving the language than before.

The history of B.A.P conquering the world. We are going to conquer Korea by this!!
Introduction of each song by the members.

Bang Yongguk: “I hate unfairness and absurdity. If there’s something that’s not right, we must say it out loud. Fans who listen to our music are still young. But just because they are young, it’s wrong to avoid learning and knowing things. If they learn how to deal and understand social issues from their early age, I think they can be good and mature adult in the future. Having something that we make no concession, is the B.A.P’s style.”

B.A.P came back with a stronger music. Being a Hip-Hop idol, their message has become clearer. Aggressive but enlightening lyrics is very B.A.P-like. This time, what kind of song are they going to show us to conquer the world? We asked the members to introduce each song that are in their 3rd mini album, “BADMAN.”

EXCUSE ME
Himchan: This is a great song to liven up with the fans. I think we can make a exciting performance with this song on the stage! I’m looking forward to perform this on stage!!
10Asia: Having a traditional Hip-Hop style, this song has the most powerful rap line among other songs that are in this 3rd mini album. We are sure that you are able to feel B.A.P’s high rapping skills during the live performances. This song is very B.A.P-like by showing their attitude toward their music with aggressive lyrics.

COFFEE SHOP
Youngjae: I’ve always wanted to try Jazz music. I think you can see B.A.P’s matured figure from this song. By having Song Youngju, a famous Jazz pianist, the song was upgraded.
Himchan: It was hard to sing without much aggressiveness, but I’m satisfied with it because the song came out well with that style.
10Asia: Urban R&B song. This is a matured song which is unusual to see from idol group. Korean’s best pianist, Song Youngju, gave a good Jazz atmosphere to the song by temporary leaving his usual session style. We can see how different expressions B.A.P is capable of from this song.

BOW WOW
Jongup: This is a song describing a man in a funny and playful way, who is attracted by a woman even though he has a girlfriend. Being angry, the girlfriend says “Why do you look at other girls when you have a girlfriend like me?” to the man. But he take a ‘so-what’ attitude saying, “This is how all men are.” But in the last part, the man says “Having you beside me, everything in the world is mine,” and end with a happy ending. (laughs)
ZELO: You will notice when you listen to this song, we’ve made this with popular Hip-Hop trend. The groovy rhythm it has matches well with the ridiculous things man says. I think you can see some charms man has that you can’t hate.
10Asia: The song which has th4e brightest image in the album. A cute (?) song that B.A.P comprehended love in their own way. The different vocal tones Daehyun and Youngjae have are making a good harmony.

HURRICANE
Bang Yongguk: In this song, we’ve challenged on electro-house music that we never tried before. We’ve been showing hardcore music, but we wanted to show the new side of our music by this song.
10Asia: Unlike other B.A.P songs, this song has an electro-dance tune. Chon Down and Marco, the music composers who worked together for the song, “NO MERCY,” which was the title song of the 1st mini album, worked on this again, and Bang Yongguk has written the lyrics himself. Not only the Hip-Hop taste it has, this is having a good rock taste in it too.

WHUT’S POPPIN’
ZELO: This is my favorite song in the new album. I like Yongguk-hyung’s straight and direct lyrics. This song has a lot of “malicious tongue” that Yongguk-hyung is always talking about. (laughs)
Bang Yongguk: We made “WHUT’S POPPIN’” because we needed an introduction song to give people the image of our new album. During the tour in America, we visited Bronx, New York. The place is a little dangerous, but it has a strong Hip-Hop atmosphere, and there, we had a chance to become friends with some guys there, and they taught us the greeting word “Whut’s Poppin’” to us. Because I wanted to express Hip-Hop in this song, I used it as the title of the song.
10Asia: As the leader, Bang Yongguk said, this song describes the different music style the album has. There are various straight and direct lyrics in this song, such as “We belong in the different class than those who are like weak girls,” and “We are not interested in things which people who don’t have much difference.” But who are they saying this to? The powerful image and Hip-Hop style B.A.P keeps from their debut, still attracts us.

BADMAN
Bang Yongguk: This song has a message that B.A.P has against crimes. When I was watching news while writing lyrics, I saw a lot of news about murder and robbery. Because I felt those serious crimes are left behind and forgotten after being aired as news on TV, I decided to make this song, wanting warn and make people think about those crimes once again by listening to our songs. Among the 6 songs, I have worked the most on this song in the album. It was new and fresh for B.A.P to use main stream music’s trap that are popular in US now.
10Asia: The title song of this album. This song is done by Kang Jiweon & Kim Kibum, who mostly work for not only B.A.P but Secret and other girl group’s title songs. This is also B.A.P-like song, which has the taste of trap that are now popular in US (trap: electronic music sub-genre which has a strong rhythm and synthesizer), and has the message that villains are defeated by justice.
