There has been anxiety over the idea that Kpop's popularity in Japan is not as strong as before.
However, Kpop artists such as 2PM, V.I and B.A.P made it onto the Oricon charts with their recent releases.
Bigbang's V.I and B.A.P both made it onto Oricon's top 5 singles chart. B.A.P's October 9 release of "Warrior" sold around 19,570 copies it's first week.
There has been speculation that the response to Kpop idols lately has not been good, but seeing response to rising groups like B.A.P has many believing there is nothing to worry about, especially given the group's strong fandom, though there is a decrease in hallyu popularity it seems.
