Q: On April 2nd your 3rd Japanese single "No Mercy" was released!
HC: It's a song filled with our ego and confidence, Jongup here can explain about the appeal of this song.
JU: Yes. It'S a song that fuses Hip Hop and traditional Korean music, and has a different appeal than what B.A.P has done up until now.
YG: It's the Japanese version of the Korean release. I think our lyrics and point of view come across well, don't you think?
Q: In the lyrics, there's the line "Shigeki motto" [T/N: "Stimulate/inspire me more," can also be similar to "Fire me up/Drive me on" but I had a lot of trouble translating it in each case below since it can sound weird so bear with me please ^^;;]. What sort of enticement do you want? HC: That's my part! (sings) "Shigeki motto~" More than stimulus, I'd like some healing. Going on a trip would also be nice. I'd like to try going to Tokyo on my own. Q: Tokyo is a stimulating city. HC: That's right (laughs) JU: For me, I want to try something new, an experience different from the everyday, something inspiring. YJ: Drive, huh~ We're all driven by each other, each of our individual talents. D: I get a lot of drive going to concerts put on by an artist I like. Bruno Mars, Beyonce, Brian McKnight, I want to go to concerts by people I admire. YJ: There are singers who're great at singing, who're great performers, people have different strong points. That's why seeing any artist is stimulating. Z: I'm in charge of dance, but at concerts I don't just focus on the dancing, I get inspiration from the costumes and songs as well. Now, I'm in the middle of improving for my own growth. YG: We're living in this world, but from space it looks like a tiny planet. Humans are living as the masters of the planet, but aliens may exist. So I think "We must protect this planet!" That's what drives me. Q: You're thinking about some difficult things... YJ: Yongguk-hyung is always like this. B.A.P: Yup. (Laughing)
Q: You had you Japan Fanmeetings March 29~31 in Sendai, Osaka and Tokyo. You preformed "No Mercy" there, how was fan's reaction?
Z: It was our 1st event in Japan since our Warrior Begins tour, but their reaction was really excited!
YJ: It was our first time preforming the Japanese version of "No Mercy," it seems like they were happy with it. This is a song popular amongst our fans.
HC: On March 31 at the Toyko fanmeeting, we sang "No Mercy" last and intended to leave the stage after that, but the "No, no, no" was really strong, so we did something like an extra encore and sang it again. Fans also celebrated Yongguk's birthday, so everyone was really fired up.
Q: Yongguk, did the members celebrate your birthday?
YG: We had a simple party with just the members.

Q: This song sees Jongup do more freestyle dance than usual.
HC: Because Jongup is "Freestyle" everyday. (laughs)
JU: Haha, that's true. (laughs) Because the dance of this song is freestyle, it goes well with the Hip Hop [elements], right? The group dance break...Ah, I'm the main dancer so I can't say. (laughs) The thing to watch in this song is the dance break set to traditional music.
Q: Himchan studied traditional music. This dance break uses "Salunori" music, right?
HC: "Salunori" is traditional Korean music. In the music video there are traditional instruments seen, but I also heard that there are Japanese taiko drums too! That's another thing to look out for.

Q: In "No Mercy" it's like the line "Say and do it with a bang!" Is there an episode from "No Mercy" for each of you?
YJ: It will make trouble for each other, so lately we try not to "talk about members," so even if the dorm is messy we don't say anything...
Q: Who makes a mess?
Z: Huhuhu (laughing sound)
YJ: Not saying it's anyone. It's really everyone (laughs).
DH: It's Youngjae though right! When we travel overseas, I share a room with him, but I want him to clean up a little, so I'm nagging him. It feels like "This is a dude's room!" and I won't forgive that.
YG: I give up already (laughs)
JU: In order to live freely with our hyungs, there's no sense of "No Mercy." Maybe at times that "DON'T DO THAT" is said I guess.
HC: Oi oi~ [Hey hey], I have "No Mercy" for that attitude Jongup.
Jongup: See, exactly. "No Mercy" at times like this (laughs)

Q: What aims do you have for your Japan promotions from this point on?
YJ: We talked about it during our arena tour, but we want to do our best and become artists who can do cocnerts at Tokyo Dome.
Z: I worry "Are we a group able to do that?" but still, Tokyo Dome is our aim.
YG: It's not a goal, but I feel it's important to do this together as 6 member B.A.P.

For 'shigeki motto' couldn't it be translated like 'More stimulation'? Especially with the follow-up Q, it seems like 'shigeki motto' = 'shigeki motto hoshii' but then, I haven't really looked at the lyrics at all so I'm just guessing. XD
