The six-member hip hop band was formed in 2012 by the label TS Entertainment and was the first boy band who was signed under TS. Bang Yongguk, Himchan, Daehyun, Youngjae, Jong Up and Zelo debuted in January 2012 with their single “Warrior” and showed their strength with powerful music, a great choreography and a suitable style. To promote the single, various performances on probably every big music show followed, for example M!Countdown, Music Core, Inkigayo and The Show. Their hard work was also internationally rewarded with #10 on Billboard’s World Albums Charts. In only one year, B.A.P produced five releases, which sold like hot cakes (it’s a german saying, basically expressing that their albums sold reaaaally well and quick). Besides numerous other awards B.A.P was featured on Grammy Website for “Best of 2012”.
There’s no doubt that their last single “One Shot” is one of the best singles B.A.P has produced so far. It shows that they don’t only convince with their vocals and Yongguk’s and Zelo’s rap parts, but also with dramatic and action-packed music videos.
With their bad boy image and their aggressive but greatly perfectionist performances they are a boy band one definitely has to have one’s eye on.
