B.A.P who came back as funky ‘Pop-Boys’
Along with being the next generation of K-POP stars, B.A.P, who are also the top rising stars of 2012, have returned with their first mini album, ‘No Mercy’. We’re revealing the messages of B.A.P, who have returned to us with their first mini album.

Q: I’m very happy to see you guys again. The ‘Smart’ friends’ responses were very hot during the last interview. Please greet the friends who have been waiting for B.A.P.
A: Hello. ‘Smart’ friends!! We are B.A.P! Yes, sir! Nice to meet you~ We were able to greet you during our 1st debut album, ‘Warrior’, and now we’re able to greet you with ‘No Mercy’. Thank you for coming to see us again.
Yongguk: Hello. I’m B.A.P’s leader, Bang Yongguk. After finishing ‘Power’ promotions, we spent 3 months busily with mini album promotions, a performance in Macau, and a solo showcase in Malaysia. Although we were tired physically, we’re the happiest when promoting on stage.
Himchan: I’m Himchan!! It’s already been around 6 months since B.A.P debuted. Thanks to our fans, we are always gaining strength and practicing. Don’t forget that B.A.P is always thinking of our BABYs~ BABYs!! I love you!!
Daehyun: Hello. I’m Daehyun. It feels like our showcase in Jangchung Gymnasium was yesterday, but it’s already our 3rd album. No, no, no, no mercy~~ We are the B.A.P!
Youngjae: Hello. I’m Youngjae. When this article gets released, you would have probably seen our performance, right? Since we’re working hard to prepare for it, we ask for a lot of support!
Jongup: Hello. I’m Jongup. I’ve been receiving vocal lessons from Daehyun hyung. Since we practicing a lot in order to show a better stage this time, please look forward to it.
Zelo: Hello. I’m the youngest, Zelo. In ‘No Mercy’, there are traditional Korean percussion sounds, and I have a saturi/dialect rap battle with Yongguk hyung! I do saturi raps with the hyungs when playing around, but everyone try it, it’s fun!!

Q: I heard that B.A.P’s ‘Power’ beat many hit songs out for the 1st place spot on Malaysia’s ‘K-POP Chart’. And you guys even had a solo showcase in Malaysia! How were the reactions around you?
A: Youngjae: Thank you!! I heard that we were 1st place for two weeks in Malaysia, but we were so surprised when we heard about it. We were thankful to finish our showcase in Malaysia well, but to think they even gave us 1st place!!! I feel that we should work harder in the future. I was touched when overseas fans talked to us in Korean and sang along with us on stage. I think we were able to finish our mini album preparations thanks to the energy we received from all the love given to us.

Q: You guys proved your popularity by not only selling out in Malaysia, but selling out all VIP tickets for your Taiwan showcase in 5 minutes. What are your future plans for overseas promotions?
A: Jongup: I honestly cannot believe that we sold out VIP tickets in 5 minutes. It’s something I should really be thankful for. Our Taiwanese showcase opens in September, but if we’re given the chance, I hope we’re able to frequently meet with overseas fans. I want to work harder and do a overseas tour one day.

Q: It’s really surprising to see newcomer K-POP stars who haven’t debuted for a long time, have this much popularity. What is B.A.P’s charm that allows them to gain this much interest and popularity?
A: Daehyun: B.A.P has a lot of twists with their charms. Although Yongguk hyung looks like a boy when you look at him, his deep voice is really manly. Jongup and Youngjae look like soft men on the outside while Zelo is just a baby, but they’re all very considerate men. All six of us aren’t really good at doing aegyo or acting cute.
Himchan: I think this is the start. There’s a title we’ve been shouting out ever since our debut, “Conquer the Earth, B.A.P!” Whenever our songs get 1st place on charts in overseas countries, I feel like those words are coming true, haha.

Q: When I saw the mini album jacket images that were released on July 19th, all of the members’ hairstyles and clothes concepts are unique. Please explain each of your characteristics.
A: Zelo: I did a two-tone hairstyle with mint and blonde. I normally enjoy riding my skateboard, but after hearing about this jacket’s concept, I thought it would be good to use my skateboard as an item. I had really fun during the photoshoot.

Q: Please tell us about your future promotion plans and determinations!
A: Yongguk: B.A.P has started music broadcast promotions with ‘No Mercy’. We’ll work hard in order to meet you all not only through music broadcasts, but open broadcasts and guerilla fanmeetings, so please support us a lot!
