War movie mania? In ‘Ta-Dah! It’s B.A.P,’ he has a strong image of a soldier who likes war but he is not really like that. It’s just an image on a program! Home Run Ball is his favorite snack. He likes snacks, so he always has snacks in his bag along with books, his wallet, a training suit, and headphones. A plain T-shirt with jeans, neat street hip-hop style is his favorite. The extent of his accessories is a hat and shoes. In general, he matches the color of all his clothes. Like matching a red t-shirt with red shoes. Jepp Blackman is his name from his underground days. There’s no big meaning but he wanted a ‘black’ feel. Even now, he admires soulful ‘black’ music.Hiphople.com is the website he logs onto first after turning on the computer. After that, he logs onto the fan café and reads every single post from the fans. Low Reversal Rap, Tunnel-low rap are the nicknames he earned while promoting ‘Going Crazy’ with Secret’s Song Jieun. Even when he was young, his voice was always low, and as he grew, the huskiness became more prominent. “I think it is my greatest charm.” Midnight Radio DJ is something he wants to try if he gets the chance. “I think my low voice suits the late night.” I like the bluish light of dawn. If I lived on the sun, not Earth, I would control the light and set it at exactly dawn. Before going onstage, I always draw a picture in my head. How to act, what kind of gestures to make, I have to create an image of the performance to calm my nerves. I am most attached to the song ‘Secret Love’ out of the songs in our first album. It’s a song about a secret relationship between a boy and girl, featuring Song Jieun. I’ve never had this kind of experience, so I had some trouble writing lyrics and producing it but it came out better than I thought. I participated in writing the raps for all of the songs.“You guys are going to do well” is the phrase that made Yongguk feel the best, out of all the praise they are receiving. They are working hard to make this phrase come true. B.A.P’s dream is to stand on stages not only in Korea, but around the world.

Zelo | 1996/10/15 | Blood Type A
Zelos is a name of the Greek god of competition that the director decided to name me after. I hope I stop growing now. A while ago I hurt my leg and got x-ray shots taken at the hospital. Coincidentally, I got to see it and the doctor said that my growth plates are still growing so from now I’ll keep growing. However to keep the balance of the team, I should stop growing. Even at the company, I worry a lot because of my height. I’m too tall. Lee Minjung? T.O.P? I heard that when I don’t have makeup on I look like the actor Lee Minjung-ssi, and when I have makeup on, from a different angle I look like T.O.P sunbae. Not often, but sometimes. I’m done with breaking in my voice. Even so, I’m still being careful. I’m speaking less, and when I talk I speak slowly and carefully, I’m paying attention to my throat. T-shirt and necklace, hat are items I always bring in my bag. I definitely always bring items of the brand TISA New Era that are made by singer-producer ‘Taz Arnold’. The shopping heaven ‘Lunar World’ that collects all the fashion brands is where I usually like to shop. If I had the skill to create a planet prettily, I would want to shop at all the clothing stores all day long. Wouldn’t it be cool to build an enjoyable shopping heaven? Skateboard maniac It’s been about 5 years since I started in Elementary school until now. The feeling of speed is the best. People who ride know but people who don’t ride, don’t know this feeling. I’m not very skilled with the board yet but I want to learn various tricks and try them out. His role model is Kanye West. I study things like his gestures, raps, while I watch his performances and music videos. Also his fashion sense gives me inspiration. I want to see the #1 searched term as “Genius & all-rounder Zelo” . He’s working towards getting acclamation of being an idol that at a young age, has a lot of talent and professional skills.

Youngjae | 1994/01/24 | Blood Type AB
It’s nice to hear that I have a nice voice and can sing well. I think this is the highest praise between singers. Daehyun, the member I’m closet with: of course, I get along well and am close with all members but am closest with Daehyun. We are the only ones who are of the same age in our team, and since we share similar taste we share a lot with each other. I dream of starring in YouHeeYeol Sketchbook. Daehyun answered the same thing? We really do connect. I will work hard for the day that I stand on that stage. My unique way of taking care of my throat is to hang a soaked towel in my room. This is my way of making my voice smooth before the day of broadcast. Whenever I have time, I read each of the fan’s comments on B.A.P’s fan cafe. Whenever I’m having a hard time, I read the comments and my strength soars. Before debut, in the practice rooms I would practice until 6am. Even now, when our schedules end, we practice until 3 in the morning in the practice rooms. We want the fans to know that we’re practicing this hard in order to put on a perfect stage. If I get the chance to put my favorite song up on SNS, I would periodically put up an image or video source on Twitter of a song that I would like share with fans. If the company gives me permission. The album’s 2nd track Unbreakable has fast beasts and hiphop sounds and the meaning behind it is about us, so I’m very attached to this song. I’m not sure if we’ll be able to show on stage. The challenge to perform in the States for Kpop idols these days is a big craze. I want to stand on stage not just South Korea, but overseas as well. BAP’s biggest music market goal is to be on stage in the USA.

Vocal Jung Daehyun I want to let people know that I can become a singer who’s good at singing and will succeed with just singing. Your mask fashion Because I have the concept of being reserved and doesn’t have much words, I have the mask on. My B.A.P character bunny wears a mask as well. But seeing the responses of the fans, I should take off my mask. A Busan man who doesn’t use saturi My mother’s from Gwangju and my father is from Busan. Before I came into the company, I stayed in Busan but I never had problems fixing my saturi since I never really used it when I was younger. But surprisingly, there were a lot of people who liked me using saturi which was on a recent episode of Ta-Dah that aired. [*T/N: Saturi is a certain dialect of the Korean language and can vary by the region you’re in] Lots of baby fat I hear often that my eyes are pretty, especially because the baby fat beneath my eye that creates a soft image whenever I smile. A clean-cut suit I like hip hop style and street fashion, but I want to try dressing up in getting tailored in having a dandy feel. Senior Shin Yongjae of 4men He’s my role model. His voice is the best in showcasing R&B and ballads. In my iPod, I have senior Shin Yongjae’s single album to all of 4men’s albums. Yoo Heeyeol’s Sketchbook It was the program I enjoyed watching even prior to my debut because I’m able to enjoy listening and watching my favorite artists and their songs in a comfortable atmosphere late in the night. The item I always carry in my backpack is a scarfIn order to always stand on stage in good condition, I tend to take care of my throat a lot. Although the weather has warmed up a lot, I’m still carrying a scarf along in not damaging my throat from the cold winter wind. Better in pictures than in real life? I often hear that I look good in pictures. My thoughts? They’re not bad, but good. Even I think that I look better when I have my makeup on with my outfit perfected. I want to film a food CF I’m confident in eating. Whether it’s pizza or soda, if you just tell me what to do, I can do it well. Gathering over 10,000 fans and sending my parents off to a vacation It’s a wish of mine that I want to fulfill in 2012. I think we’ve succeeded in gathering over 10,000 fans (the member count on their official fan café exceeds 20,00 already). And when B.A.P succeeds, the first thing I want to do is gift my parents an amazing vacation. I want to return the favor to my friends who endured a lot in taking care of me and my older brother. Rookie award? That’s a given.

His built body made by working out? He honestly doesn’t work out and the only time he utilizes his body in movements is dancing. Because he started dancing since an early age, the results are no different from working out. Ta-Dah It’s B.A.P He watches the broadcast every week on Sunday at 4PM with the other members as they gather around in front of the TV. The program that let their group be known prior to their debut, more of the reasons to have an attachment to the show. Recording every Wednesday, it’s an environment where the members can comfortably play as well as record which is different from how they’re set to be for music programs. Chris Brown & MAMAA stage where he wishes to stand on one day. Seeing senior CL from 2NE1 on stage with Black Eyed Peas in a joint stage during last year’s 2011 MAMA, he imagined a collaboration stage with his role model Chris Brown. A powerful an awesome stage – ah, he has the confidence to hold a perfect stage.Watching music videos of international artists on Youtube He has Youtube bookmarked on his computer where he watches Chris Brown along with other international artists and their music videos, monitoring their dance and performances. Of course, he follows along himself and doesn’t forget to remember new dance moves. Necklace & shoes It’s not to the point where he collects them, but when he gets dressed, shoes are his main focus. His daily patterns in terms of places. When he has days of recording, the only addition is going to the hair salon. All the members are roommates Their room has 3 bunk beds in one room. Yongguk, Himchan and Jongup are on the bottom bunks while Daehyun, Youngjae, and Zelo are the members using the top bunk. Placing 1st on a music program A wish he wishes to fulfill, and hold the rookie award in his hand if possible for 2012.

Himchan | 1990/04/19 | Blood Type O
Full of strength and is strong Is the meaning of how my parents gave me my name and it’s my real name. [*T/N: ‘Him’ = strength in Korean, and ‘chan’ is the tense form of ‘chada’ which means full of something]. Blond hair It was completed after bleaching our hair 3-4 times. It was honestly a style I wanted to try before but after going to excruciating pain, my thoughts have changed. If people around me want to dye their hair, I’m going to make sure to convince them in not doing so.Gukak National Middle School, Gukak National High School, & Korean National University of the Arts I’ve walked down one path. With my parents’ suggestion when I was younger and my older sister already studying Korean traditional music at the time, I accepted it naturally. [*T/N: Gukak = Korean traditional music; this is Himchan’s major] I like my nose the best out of my physical appearance I’ve heard people saying that it looks like I got plastic surgery, but it’s my natural nose: you can trust me on this. The part I’m not really fond of is my philtrum since it’s concaved so it bothers me, but everyone around me says it’s my charm. Is it really? I should think differently. MC for MTV Korea’s “The Show” Originally the position was supposed to have been for someone else but do to them cancelling, I was put in last minute. I was a little at ease and was able to execute it well in having fun because our company senior Jeo Hyosung of Secret was the female MC. Instead of having pressure, I think I enjoyed the lively atmosphere. And after that, I was able to work with other various female MCs such as Luna of f(x) and Hyeri of Girls’ Day. ”We Got Married” I want to try going on the program. I think the fresh image naturally draws itself when a man and a woman begin to date. It’s nice to see. Who will be my co-star? I haven’t thought that far yet. I think I’ll be okay in whoever it is. Aside from drums, guitar, piano, & violin.I learned a lot of instruments when I was younger so I can play a little of all of them. I can play the jembe as well. A mania for healthy food products I tend to take care of my body a lot, so I watch what I eat a lot. Although I can’t carry a lot of things, I always make sure to have vitamins and Omega3 in my backpack. Starving the day before recording I tend to swell up easily so it’s become a habit of not eating anything 6-8 hours prior to sleeping on the day before a recording.MTV World Stage is a stage I want to go on I was able to watch the MTV World Stage in Malaysia in recording for a program and it was really amazing. I hope I and the members of B.A.P can hurry in standing on the VMA stage in showcasing a performance.
